What did you do to your Rocket today?

Had to get my neck cracked at the chiropracter today..been giving me hell!..got that done cruised into local dealership and Brad tells me the first new model R3 will be here in two weeks...a demo Roadster..i need to see that and take her for a spin....i will leave the wallet at home i'm thinking...
Went and had my rear tyre checked out for tread depth as i have to get a new Warrant of Fitness this month. The tyre was borderline so i had a new Bridgestone Exedra Max put on...$NZ329 plus $NZ50 to fit...pretty darn good...spline was sweet..
The old tyre, also a exedra max had been there since i rode the bike out of the dealers, new, 3 years ago come xmas...15205 kms on it.
Some may say i ride like a nancy to get that but ask around...
i gotta be pleased with today!

@Claviger I'm just about to refit my forks after new seals, is there an optimum mm above yoke and why? Thanks bud

Interested myself, mine are 1/4" above the yoke, I'm thinking of putting them back down flush with the top, chasing the high speed weave still. Steering head bearings recently changed to AllBalls, no effect.

I changed the wheel bearings, touring with 50,000 miles and they were due, I bought used and don’t know if they’ve ever been changed, fronts weren’t too bad, but the inside bearing on the rear had that smell, ooh ooh that smell can’t you smell that smell, it was done, the rear needed taking apart and cleaned it was just about to push the circlip right off with build up under the ring, anyway I post to remind touring guys with comparable miles get them changed. If nothing else take rear apart and clean it. Those rubber bushings make a real mess in there.
