Hello ,
Went on a 2K mile ride spanning 3- days last month to the Allegheny Mountains of PA. and noticed discomfort in the Tail bone area and leg fatigue. Little to no relief with constant movement back and forth from the foot pegs to the Highway pegs after about 4- hours on the bike . Anyone have luck with the forward controls?
I'm OK with removing the crash bar.
Thanks

Classics came stock with foot boards not pegs. Which factory seat do you have and what rear suspension? Some of the 'Classic' dual seats were the best Triumph factory Rocket seats made.
I got a lot of pain too from crap stock suspension and stock Rider's solo seat.

Lots of upgrades possible to seats and suspension and then If you really do not succeed try forward controls as they are likely to put a bigger load on your tailbone

I have some used custom Solo Corbin and Russell Daylong seats and a few other options and a new set of
FC17-Forward Controls too.

For Sale - Corbin Classic Solo seats with backrest options

I have the A9708160 Backrest & CLASSIC TOURING SEAT - DUAL A9708164
Running the Stock shocks that were set @ level 4 .
For now, I'm looking for the forward controls to try and stretch the legs out a bit.
It might be tough to do but the i'm trying to use my rocket III to replace my 2007 Harley Ultra Classic for long rides. My Ultra has 78K miles on it.

It's probably your stock saddle. I say that because I was miserable on my 07 Classic Tourer until I bought a decent seat. To me the seating position on the Classic is perfect but the stock seat is absolutely rubbish and it can effect the rider in different ways, although involving discomfort.

If you are finding that using the foot pegs instead of the floorboards still provides no relief, forward controls probably won't do anything for you. Good luck. I have felt your pain.

Yep you already have the best Stock Triumph seat and rider's backrest available. You have found same problem as me that they tend to push you forward and cram your legs if much over 6' tall.
I went to Corbin's Fastgun and Solos and they are great but I have a Black Leather Russell Daylong Solo rider HD spring on now and will not be selling it.

Corbins and Russells like any custom seat can be made to allow more room at rear and with Utopia or Corbin backrests can be roomier than the stock version below can ever be.

You will gain more by upgrading your rear suspension and riding without the backrest and you may find it solves the problem and allows you to sit further back than the 6 position adjustment wheel on the Rider's backrest allows. You can then sell the backrest for a small fortune and buy a Utopia one that fits the same hole in your seat for half and I believe they have much more adjustment available! ;):D
I only have a couple of the R3 Standard/Roadster 2 piece seat version which bolt on differently but the Classic and R3Touring backrest version for the dual seats will also fit the R3Touring Solo seat.

I gave the top bidder a tickle and he has increased his bid;):D. I have seen them hit US$350 or more.

I installed the FC17 forward controls om my 2012 Roadster and should have done it long ago. No more hip pain and bike is more fun to ride now.

I ended up getting my seat redone by Seth Lamm in California.
Tailbone and other issues resolved without the forward controls.
The Laam seat redo is actually more comfortable than the 2007 Harley Ultra Zepplin seat.
