check engine light after a jump??

Is it out now Lupe? If you remember all the battery troubles I have had, most if them were due to cold morning starts when the battery is weak. The check engine light would always come on once the bike started. After three hot/cold starts, it always clears itself.

Funny thing happened right after I wrote this above. The bike had a hard start, it is cold. The check engine light came on. I rode it a block and realized it had defaulted tot he limp mode. I pulled over to troubleshoot. I pulled the seat and found once more that the positive cable was lose. I tightened it and the bike ran well all the way to work. The check engine light is one though and will be for at least two more starts...
