Last time I was in Bermuda they were hanging two blacks for burning down a Piggy Wiggly supermarket. A good friend of mine owned a hotel in East Hampton which last time i was there was under British rule. She told me they are constantly airlifting trauma victim tourists to hospitals. 135 road fatalities there in the last ten years. I seriously doubt she'll get away with anything ,she's going to have to live with that mistake the rest of her life.

How do you become s diplomat ? sounds like the perfect job ! :D

Just saw this one Nat and, while I believe your question is surely in jest, I considered it during my senior year at the university before I received my Navy commission. Here one takes the Foreign Service Exam, which is actually quite comprehensive and heavy with US history, literature and art questions, and then apply. The other is a political appointment, generally a payback for political party support.

I was glad I decided to continue my Navy career after learning just how smarmy a career in the Foreign Service could be. I visited a couple of embassies/consular offices use to post "special" Navy personnel to some of them.

I hate investigating these type of crashes!

No kidding Steve, especially when they are our age. I've seen way too many motorcycle accidents along the road while touring and I hate it every time, as do we all.

Happened just this past May. :(
My wish is the guy had a long satisfying motor career and he died doing the activity he loved best!
Rest In Peace my unknown motor brother! :inlove

Well I am glad you abandoned the idea , chances are , if you had , we would never have made our acquaintance here ? I don't think I want to be a diplomat any more !

I have no details but I just read on the news that she has been charged in the motorcyclists death.

Edit: BBC news has details. She has been charged and extradition proceedings have begun but she is unlikely to return to the UK on her own and the extradition is not likely to be successful.
