Ride
rocket three x
You know It really don't matter what brand of oil you use or what kind of air filter you have installed. Bottom line is Maintenance. Keep it together do your maintenance and enjoy the ride. Never had to call work and tell them the Rocket is down and ain't going to make it today. Different strokes for different folks. After a long day at work one of my highlights of the day is that i get a good 55 mile ride in before hitting the house. At times riding in to work is a different story cold as a witches tit. The ride home is worth the ride in. Well worth it. Just saying

I know what your talking about Sonny.

I didn't do may rides to work this winter but when I did I enjoyed the short 13miles to work but the 50 plus ride home is fantastic.

Long straights tight twisty long striaghts and tight curves again followed by a long 1.5 mile tunnel throttle on throttle off and all the gears gotta love the sound bouncing off the walls before a last short hoon at 63mph speed limit before back to city speeds. And home.

With a heated jacket liner and heated gloves the cold is not an issue, unless there is snow or ice. The back road commute gets me ready to face the day at work and then leave it behind before heading back to the barn.
