Ok, so I use the head pat vs. sticking your finger up and whirling it around. I think the first is easier to spot from across the road, but I see lots of riders with puzzled looks. Which one do you guys use to indicate potential trouble ahead? Just curious....
Head pat. I thought every rider new that! I noticed folks on cruisers more likely to communicate and hand wave back than folks on street bikes. Might be a generation thing??

I ride peacefully. Give respect to the four wheel vehicles. They outweigh me. Give and ride knowing. Maybe that is why at 61 years old and a average of 20,000 miles a year on two wheels since i was seventeen i'm still here to make smart ass comments.
