2015 Rocket 3 Touring
Been tossing around the idea of a fairing for my 15 R3T. I would love some better wind protection. Boy , those Corbin’s are expensive.
Anyone have an opinion on the Corbin, or maybe something else?
Just looking for opinions.
Thanks Eric

The Corbin is great as a fairing. You will need to get a taller screen than the 6 inch stock one. Long Ride Shields makes some very nice shields and are reasonable priced. I have 3 of them. Corbin does not have an insert for a sound system. However you can get some really nice MUCH LESS EXPENSIVE fairings from other makers. Some of those other maker fairings DO have inserts for sound systems. Do some research.

My experience with Fairings on the R3T. is from an owners perspective. I've installed a couple for friends and different types of cycles.
I think 2 companies stand out. "Tsukayu" makes a quality product. No issues with their process. Beautiful painted on the bike. Has two speakers on the sterio system, extreme outside placement.
The second fairing for the Rocket Touring is "Wide Open Customs". I put a couple of these on bikes. I bought and installed this model on my cycle. Really like it. Cheaper to purchase. The finished painted fairing is equal to the Tsukayu. The selling points for me was the four speaker sterio. I think it looks better than the two speakers on other fairings. Also the company is in the U.S. And easier to communicate with. You can't go wrong with either of these fairings.

I second the Tsukayu. Really good quality and good customer service. I put one of their fairings on a Victory Kingpin a few years ago. With a custom paint job, it looked better than factory.

I did a review of the Corbin. I liked the fairing and the easy way it was mounted. It also came custom painted so I didn't need to mess with that. I didn't find it provided the type of wind protection I was looking for so I did a lot of modifications to it. It seemed like a lot of wind came up around the headlight and it was a close fit with the auxiliary lights. Even after the mods, it still didn't give me what I wanted. In spite of the burly design of the mounts, it seemed to shake a bit over bumps and a taller windscreen made it worse. In the end, I took a big hit on it and sold it. I have better luck and better protection with a nice windscreen and my wind deflectors. I had some slightly larger laser cut lowers made which also help. but I only run them in the spring or fall as they can be a little warm in the summer.

Corbin Fairing Review Update
I hate to admit it, but the fairing I have isn't any better than the OEM windshield. I get wind from below. I like the looks, but function of fairings isn't that great.

Thanks for the responses. I will do some digging. I already have a wide Clearview vented shield with be different’s deflectors.
It’s a good setup. I just like the more seamless look of a fairing.
