2.5L Rocket Stroker Engine Kit with 6 Speed Transmission (R&D)

Are you going to include a set of high compression pistons to go with the kit or are you thinking progressive packages like Carpenter provides.
1. Stroker. $$
2. Stroker & High Comp Pistons. $$$
3. Stroker, Pistons, Cams, Pipes etc etc. $$$$$

I think I'll stick to the stroker kit, and step aside for the pistons cams exhausts pros :D like @Neville Lush Bob Carpenter @Paul Bryant

What I can do is show what tq & hp the stroker does with an otherwise stock motor.
Then transfer the Carpenter head & pistons to the 2.5L, along with my exhaust, and show what it does when combined with a 240hp kit.

Then I'll transfer the front engine cover with TTS supercharger to the 2.5, and show what that combo does too :)

I will then send it out to New Zealand to Paul Bryant for testing ......

Congratulations, very happy for you that it went well!!

Nice to see it living and breathing, excited to see you out and about on it and get your impressions.

Man you just laid a bunch of work out there for yourself. Hope you saved yourself some time for riding and relaxing.

So is the stroker kit made with stock pistons?? Even so it would have more compression, just because of the extra capacity. It would be waaay beneficial to to alter the cams even with nothing else. Making and engine bigger makes it behave like the cams are too small.

I don't actually ride anymore, just wrench :ninja:
At the end of the day, the stroker bits will end up in the supercharged Carpenter engine.
I figure it will be easier and bear progressive dyno charts to swap the head and front cover over to the 2.5 engine.
Other way round would be an engine out, crank & rod operation x2.
The 2.5L engine has less mileage than the road bike supercharged Carpenter.

Yes Nev the stock pistons, and cams. The idea being the base kit would be the minimal to turn a stock Rocket into a 2.5L.

We'll see what this does to a stocker, the next step then is a full head job :)

Thanks
