What did you do to your Rocket today?

Those numbers Myers are a bit high. It takes quite a bit of motor work to gen an Indian to really make 130 tq.o_O

Yea, I went back and looked at his graph and its pretty funky. It starts at 130 and drops off immediately.

This Mustang Dyno (or most likely its operator) is off by 18% on the high side. Mine was only 149HP/147TQ on a DynoJet --- 13 years ago. Or maybe its due to running only in 3rd gear?

This Injun did have custom pipes and a new map.
The owner also had the Diavel above and that had a little work done to it as well.

In the past two weeks I:

1. Continued my tradition of going 100MPH at the moment the odometer clicks another 10K miles (luckily I slowed to the posted limit before passing a hidden trooper)
2. Replaced engine oil on the '05 Tribal with Amsoil + filter
3. Replaced Rear Drive Oil too
4. Went Double Darkside and installed a Michelin Pilot Road 5 150/70R17 rear tire reversed on the front of the '05 (Riken Raptor 245/50R16 CT on rear)
5. Rode 900+ miles DD - loving the new setup
6. Installed new contact lenses on the Tribal (I like the ones on my Roadster better but these will suffice for now)

Looking good. The front Pilot 5 is a significant improvement when the time to turn the Rocket comes. It should run 15k miles.

That would be great. Loving it so far.

Yesterday: Tweaked contact lenses on the tribal. Tried to Plasti-Dip eyelids on.

Today: Invaded Canada.

Rode 5hrs to Toronto to see “The Hu” (not a typo) - a Mongolian throat signing rock band touring North America promoting their upcoming debut album.

Staying at the Filmores Hotel and the concert is at The Opera House. NOT a nice neighborhood. Within 15 minutes of checking in I had to hold the door open to help the bouncers drag a rowdy customer out of the gentlemen’s club downstairs.

Then the parking lot next door didn’t want me to park there due to crime.

Before I could move my bike to another lot, someone pulled my two US flags off my mirrors and threw them on the ground.

I don’t recommend staying in that area even though it was inexpensive.

I also swapped the old RU-2780 air filters for new chrome-topped 6" RC-3680 before the trip. Lovely albeit a tad louder.

It took me 6+ hours to go 180 miles but I'm back in Rochester if you're riding this weekend. Some folks are riding to the Grape Fest in Naples...

I got an early start and rode the sightseeing bus around the city and took a nice Ferry ride and then had a Peameal Bacon Burger for lunch (delicious!) at Paddington's Pump in the St. Lawrence Market and hopped on the bike at 4pm hoping to beat rush hour.

NOT EVEN CLOSE. It took 1/2 hour just to get on the QEW.

I think QEW is french for "Quit Enjoying Wheels-in-motion". Over 3 hours of stop&go traffic to get to Niagara Falls.

I rode past the falls lit up with colored lights and got to the Dino at 10:15pm and was home at 11:30. A long day.

All in all it was a great 3-day getaway.

This will be interesting with the CT.
I bet the wider profile, smaller radius and ZR rating of the Road 5 will work pretty well with the fat square CT.
Likely better than other MC front tires for the Rocket???
Keep us posted, please?
