While I love the feel and ride, I’m not off to the best start... on my maiden voyage home from the dealership the bike is dropping out of 2nd gear into neutral when accelerating. Seems fine in traffic where I can’t really give it more than 30% or so throttle but more than half, it will drop to neutral at around 4500rpm. I’m bringing it back to the dealership I bought it from and they’re going to take a look.

Hi..Welcome from Christchurch New Zealand....Enjoy the bike!...Clutch adjustment is fairly critical on these...pretty much a full hand stretch out seems to be it.

Welcome to the Family! Do let how know how that gets sorted out. She can be temperamental now and then; but I've lived long enough to know anything worth having takes a little effort and occasional tweaking...

Welcome from another Christchurch New Zealand.

With the gear problem I hope you really lifted the gear lever up high enough to fully engage the gear.

It's happened to me a few times but a new to you bike must make you think you have brought a lemon.

I'm sure that it want be too much to sort out.

And as it's a later model you won't have what I had go wrong with my 06. But I wouldn't want any other bike.... Apart from the new GT model Rocket
