Which Helmet.....

Love the Nolan N44. Field of view excellent, wind noise good, fit and durability good and price is fair. Love the built in visor and the quick buckle. And when it’s needed, a modular. I also have a Shoei, but order the Nolan.

after i read that 33% of wrecks land on there chin i wear HJC full face
because $108 and it fit perfect.
could not see $400 for one thats 1/2 ounce (or whatever it is) lighter

Riding on military installations; a flip-up helmet makes life sooo much easier going through the gates. That and noise reduction were crucial for me... which unfortunately comes at a heft price...

HJC IS Max modular. Love it

The N44 has been replaced by the N70-2GT.

@Tal - I'd look at the newish genre of Dual Road lids. Many (most?) flip front. Most you can remove the peak if you don't like it, and most have giant glazed fronts to look out of. As a plus many also have the MAX-VISION Pinlock option. If I was looking today I would give serious consideration to the Scorpion Exo ADX-1. Fits me better than the Nolans. My current lid is a NEXX XD-1 - I have become a fan of sun peaks.

..Thanx for that...my current lid is 6yrs old now so i'm looking..
I will follow up on your advise thankyou...good stuff!
One's pleasure. One point of note - If you DO NOT NEED OR WANT A FLIP FRONT - a plain old FULL FACE version will be lighter.

Another on my RADAR - though not as yet "tested". LS2 HELMETS
I have also had sterling reports about these Synchrony Duosport sv | MT Helmets - but have not even seen one. Seen other models and for the price they are outstanding. Dealers do not like them as there is no margin.

Thanx...i had an LS2...my partner has one which she has owned for 6 yrs and worn maybe 3 or 4 times...'YOU GO TOO FAST!!!!"
so i dont have room for a pillion now...:whitstling:
Me too!! Means I can ride how I like without the constant tap tap tapping on the helmet! Comms gear between rider and pillion? No chance, I enjoyed the silence :D:D
