Speedo and tacho needles won't go past 140 & 8k, what the eff?

Yeah so I had a duel with a ZX10R today and i noted that my speedo hit 140 mark but i still had a gear or 2 and plenty revs to go. the tacho also stopped at 8k mark but the revs kept climbing.

Would i be right in saying the original/classic clocks wind past their top markings? My roadster doesn't :-(

Am not sure Arto... I have never redlined my Rocket. Yet.

I have had my speedo off the clock approx 240km going down a slight hill.

My 06 and 07 keep on going. The 06 will even go past the odometer I suspect the 07 does also but have not twisted it up that far yet.

That's because of that hair dryer you have nailed on the side of your Engine :mrgreen:

So? How did you make out against the ZX10R?
I'm with Will and haven't redlined mine either.

ZX10R, I've shat bigger than one of them. They're tiny, but fast.
