Hayabusa owner changing to R3

Welcome to the site Wes from Northern Ontario. Glad you are considering the Rocket. If you are looking for new, there aren't many of the Roadster models left since 2018 was the last year they were made. The new 2500 model is due out late this year. You won't be disappointed when comparing it to any other cruisers on the market. (Were talking cruisers, not converted ****** rockets)
I'll probably go for 2015/2016 that's about all there is on autotrader at the moment don't really want new although I did buy the busa new after I sold 3 of my bikes at the time ..gsx1400/gsx1100 streetfighter and an R1. I've tested the new fat bob114 (£15,800) but harley are having a laugh they sell you an underpowered bike with no abs then sell 4 stages of tune for it totaling £3500+ labour, eveything they sell is a fortune. The stock R3 comes with that sort of torque, more ground clearance abs etc

Hi Wes and a bright and chirpy welcome from a fellow Brit! Good hunting for the Rocket, quite a few main dealers in the North West and North East of UK, shouldn't have too much trouble!!

Welcome from North Wales, I used to ride hayabusa but found wrist and neck ache after 200 miles. Roadster is a great buy and seem to be holding even increasing in value.
Even increasing in value?????????????? I think you have took a few too many kicks to the head in the scrum:D Jesus you can buy rockets for next to nothing (especially older ones) over here.
I have heard Rockets being called a few things but keeping their value that is a first, now hopefully it is true in wales.

Welcome and a good choice of bikes you have had over the years, the stock Rocket will not be as fast as the previous bikes you have owned but a few wee tweeks and it is easy to open it up.
Yea my bike is close to 190 at the wheel I need to come away from the 100mph + stuff. Thats my reason for the R3 plenty low down grunt once the ecu is re mapped I've had my fun so hopefully the R3 should satisfy there's no substitute for cubes

The Rockets in the UK are really holding and increasing in value, same as every muscle bike gsx1400, xjr1300 etc even the B king is going up in value. It's down to supply and demand - check UK ebay for what dealers are selling bikes for. There is a 02 Gsx1400 currently on there £8000.00
