The ones on the bike are old and perhaps the ones that originally came with the bike. Suggestions on makes and sizes of new ones?

I can’t figure if you have a roadster or touring, but I can say the exceeds max in the rear, and an Avon cobra up front is a great match for me on the roadster.

The eMax is a 240/55/16, slightly larger than stock, and 140/75/17 front slightly smaller than stock. No issues with anti skid. And handles better.

I went with the Bridgestone Excedra Max on the rear of my 07 (second replacement), which as I recall also mitigates the speedo error. Some are using the Michelin up front.

As others have suggested, and sojerguy, please do a tire forum search. Tire threads are about as common as oil threads with much information on tire make/size options with forum member experiences.

New tires will be ordered this week. As soon as my replace CC gets here from USAA. On Friday, I found someone had order $91 of caviar in San Fran on my card. that got stopped quick, but necessitates a replacement card.
