Damaged crankcase with pictures -- FIXED

The last two times I trailered the rocket, I strapped ends of handlebars to bottom latch point and compressed front fork till tight and stable. Then, two straps to rear, compressing rear shock. Kick stand up as bike was supported by straps. Bike floated on trailer as suspension worked in limited rage of motion.

Feel badly for your misfortune, hope you can find really good welder and gets lucky on fix. Used parts search might also be considered as backup.

This could be built up, machined down and retapped also by some people. Because they can
Good idea but would not work. Cast of that grain and posterity will not hold a weld. Would end up developing cracks even if you could get it to weld in the first place. Even if it did possibly stay in place by the time you tried to machine it would break off. Even working with aircraft quality cast aluminum porosity and cracking is a issue. This is no were near that quality of cast.
