Seven motorcyclists are dead after colliding with a pickup truck in New Hampshire

Now allow me a question.

Is that size of trailer usually towed by a pick-up?

I see know how so much carnage was possible.

I wouldn't call it common but it's not uncommon, especially in rural areas. The 2500 is perfectly capable of pulling that size trailer safely.

We don't know the circumstances yet, could be alcohol, could be a phone, could be a seizure.

First off - Horrible tragedy, Prayers for all involved. That close to the destination, I really hope the last person to leave previous stop will not blame themselves. I cannot imagine after being worried sick about your military spouse or parent etc while on active duty to have them cut-down in a supposedly "safer" situation.

On trailer question. Looks like a Take 3 gooseneck (Take 3 | 2 Car Gooseneck). Well within a modern 3/4 or 1 ton pick-up capabilities. In Tx, this would require a class license (trailer over 10K & 3/4+ PU well over 25klbs requirement). If traveling for business interstate would require DOT (federal level) license and rules (logbook etc). I was seriously looking at one of these when my wife and I were bracket racing. I didn't buy one as "technically" prize money (if I won) is commercial and I could run afoul of DOT
