Seven motorcyclists are dead after colliding with a pickup truck in New Hampshire

No word on how exactly this happened, but sounds like the pickup truck crossed the center line. It's a tragic loss for the riders and their families.

It seems like the number of times people cross over into my lane is happening more and more. Very often it is a big tricked out pickup- like yesterday! If you don't have the skill to keep a large vehicle between two lines get something smaller like a VW bug until you learn! Then there's texting.....

New Hampshire live free or die state..No helmet law. Very sad.

but riding in groups in the tight staggered formation is a terrible idea these days of distracted drivers.
As somebody who has "problems" riding in groups I cant really get my head around a lot of this particular story. It's sad of course, but something sounds very off somehow.

I was in a group of harleys, about 10 of us and we came into a tight turn fast and there was gravel everywhere! I was on the low, right when the bike in front slowed and came to center from the left taking away my escape rt, i'm trying to gently slow and make the turn without leaning when my bike washes out and the rider thats supposed to be on my left comes sailing over my right shoulder! I manage to be sitting atop my bike when the 3rd rider slams us and goes tumbling bye! The rider in front came running back to apologize for breaking their lane and causing the whole pileup, but that was worth a hill of beans after the fact. 2 riders went to the hospital I rode home but the bike cost the ins $7200 to repair a cvo was totalled and another cost $5500. Once the first bike goes down the rest just follow, That so many died is a tragedy.
