This has been one of the best mods to my R3 to date...transformed the way the bike goes in to a turn and at last some sticky rubber up front. Need to drop the front mud guard to follow the lines of the lower section or might go for a shorter F/G which i think will compliment the "sportier" look we have going on now..

WOW!
That's .59" lower than even a 140/75R17 or a 150/70R17!
What size tire are you running on the rear?
I assume it is a rear tire run reverse on the front?

Researching this tire, I am a tad confused.
Your pix depicts a "Rosso II 150/60R17" tire that is just 66H rated for weight and speed.
If this is a Pirelli Diablo Rosso II rear tire at 150/60ZR17 it should be a 66W rating???

Same thing I found, only the W rated. I wonder if it's an OEM tire, sometimes labeled the same but not the same as what we buy from vendors.

I'm sure it'll handle great either way.

Haha sorry for the short post i was trying to eat pizza..yes the tire is just that and rotated backwards.its rated for 130 mph but doing those speeds on my r3 is insane,i keep that for my plastic bikes and more suited. guys the handling with this tire is just like night and day and makes the bike more fun to ride around my land, anyone doing hundreds a miles aday point to poiunt well its the wrong tire as being a more sport biased tire it wont last 5 mins. took it out this morning and had a smile on my face for an hour i kid you not:D..Claviger would love this size with his riding style i bet:thumbsup:

The guys who make toys don't always get it right out the box and a perfect example is an early Honda Fireblade with a 16" front wheel, combined with a fairly steep rake just made it imho not nice on the streets, great on tracks i must admit but not street...nail a 17" front wheel on a blade and its another story and i have done this with the 3 blades ive owned in the past and transformed the feel. This 150/60/17 i have is not everyone's cup of tea as i am aware but for me its perfect:) I dare at least one of you guys to try this combo and say its not nice:whitstling:....Oh have i told you about the 2016 Triumph Trophy 6" rear rim i am in the middle of making a hubcentric adapter it fit my Triumph explorer so it can run a 190 Diablo Supercorsa:D

I suspect it will trip ABS fault protection for me :(

Good catch, Rob! You were spot on regarding ABS fault in a Roadster with @joesoap tire combo.
I don't believe @joesoap has ABS, but I ran the ratio numbers for his tire combo, just for poops & giggles:
