Tors or David Platt exhaust?

Those are Touring pipes, different mounting than the Roadster, they won't work.

Nope, just the part number for the complete CHROME Roadster TORs kit. A9608077.

The Black Roadster TORs version (initially made for Rocket X) part number is:

Silencer, Twin, Black, Kit

Part Number: A9608144

I have sold quite a few of both these and the Touring TORs on the forum over the past few years

These are the Touring TORs part numbers as a kit or just the pipes. The kit numbers are unlikely to appear on the pipes themselves.

Hi Rockmonster, the DP pipes ARE loud! No two ways about it. The TORS pipes are a little more responsible but the chance of getting any new ones off the shelf is slimmer than a slim thing that just came first in a slim competition! There is a member of this forum in the UK, @tails who I believe still has a set of second hand ones for sale.

I have the DP cross over and custom silencers, not the shorty outlaws and it’s louder than stock but not super loud. Has a deep tone and throaty growl when I get on it. Very happy and I like that they are full stainless as well.

I have a question on the TORS for the Touring. Are they 100% 304 or better, stainless? The reason for asking is the sound seems a little louder and deeper over time.

There are some for sale on eBay at the moment is it him?

The ebay user TSA49 is Dave Platt.

Cant be arsed reading all replies so I will say this, I had TORS and found them disappointing and as heavy as standard. Also, the CAT is in the TORS cans, same as standard, unless you mean cut them open to remove the cat?

@Rockmonster
These are the pipes I have fitted to my Super Dazzling Blue machine (lots of photos available funnily enough) that you had the privilege of riding behind the other weekend. I had them made a couple of inches shorter than Paul's normal specification and are therefore a little louder than usual. Give @Paul Bryant a shout and see what he can do for you!
