My Carpenter 240 build

Sounds very familiar

Engine sounds great, clean pull.

Very happy for you!!

Any chance you'll make it out to the Sisters this year or WA at some point?

I did a little overlay as people asked for.

This is rather interesting, the blue and yellow are literally exactly the same exhaust, as it came off my bike and shipped to Jvheli. So it's a near apples to apples between CES on a 240 and a 265 in the real world, not using the marketing plots.

Looking for a 240 +brute Dyno from a 3rd party to add which I can't seem to find. I NO way am I trying to "1 up" Jvehlis phenomenal achievement, just providing info. With the same pipe your 240 setup looks like a much nicer ride, broader torque curve and flatter curve, meaning more tractable and usable.

The Brute pipe will take torque away below 4k and add some after 6500, more like the blue plot. Different builds intended for different uses!

Of interest, I used both your tuneecu and PCV 265 kit tunes. It ran great, but had to add a **** ton of fueling to get the AFR in the 13’s. And I am in love with the L table tuning. I’ve ridden this now in a downpour and I can say it’s SAFER than stock! Just butter smooth, and with the slightly lower torque in the lower rpm range is a ***** cat! it only gets wild over 3000 rpm, then it’s another story!

Yeah, I don't remember which version I sent, with different injectors, fuel pressure, fuel pump etc etc not to mention the PC-V map I'd expect it to be quite off.

At least it got it running enough as a starting point.

So Rob,
You gained about 12 RWHP with the Oz header over the CES?
Would be interesting to get Jeff's motor onto Nels' dyno.

Thank you! And in any case, I’d really like to meet you! And I love the PNW, great area. I was stationed there at Ft Lewis!

Now called Joint Base Lewis McChord, tis located about half way (15 miles) between Rob and I.
Some really good riding around here, especially in July, August & September.
