I know there are a ton of you guys out there that feel as I did. I have new motorcycle parts to install but I’m trying to be patient and do things little by little. Fuggetaboutit! I said “I can’t watch tv” with new stuff out there so out I went and all that is left to do is install the rear wheel tomorrow and it will be rideable. I’ll insure it later this week and maybe go for a burn. The Triumph service manual is a handy reference but crikey it leaves a LOT to the imagination when it come to reinstalling little things. I’ve had service manuals and parts catalogues in the past that were extremely detailed - not so Triumph but I guess I could have taken more photos in disassembly or looked at Hermys or another website if I was stuck trying to figure out the relation of one part to another. The only glitch so far is of my own doing. I didn’t ask them to paint the inside of the sport fairing so it’s not finished properly. I’ll get to it later.
Pretty much end of story for this year. I put the rear wheel on this morning and wheeled it outside for some shots in the sun. I’m quite happy with both the colour scheme and the airbrush guy’s work. I WILL get the shop to paint the inside of the flyscreen in the candy red at some point. Any of you Canucks looking at this, can you identify the animals I asked the airbrush guy to incorporate into the maple leaf on the rear fender? Next year I’ll get the seat customized and think about boosting the horsepower (like it needs it right)?

I’ll buy you a beer if we meet up one day regardless, but you missed the beaver!!!! Right on for the other 3 though. The airbrush guy said he wanted to make the moose a little difficult to distinguish. Maybe the beaver is too?
