Standing? Gads Sir, lying down and she does all the work!

You all need to get a room, what with all that love being shown to one another.

I don’t know how far West Sussex is from the Moors, but I hope it is far enough to make for a good ride ( blue or black)

So, from the exchange we now know that Grumpy has some kind of custom side saddle for riding in a dress and we would NEVER want to ride behind Nate67, what with all the mud flying off the bike at elevated speeds. Did I get that right?

Cheers guys and happy riding - I’m off to fix my ignition.

Greg

Hello RVA and welcome from Virginia. I had an FZ1 prior to my R3T. Loved that bike too till I met Bambi on a tight curve...

Hey Boog. Ouch! What a bummer - meeting Bambi in that way. I've had a couple close calls, but fortunately they have all decided to go back the other way. Doesn't change the pucker factor though.

I just rode my FZ1 up to Rolling Thunder on Sunday. Wanted to take the Rocket, but I haven't finished the ignition switch refit yet.

Looks like you do a fair number of miles on your Rocket. Do you use the stock seat, or have you gone aftermarket?

Thanks for the welcome.

Good morning Greg, I switched to a Triumph Long Haul seat I April before a 2K mile ride and it did make a noticeable positive difference. I also ride with a BeadRider on the seat during hot weather which does help a lot.

That’s great to hear. I just ordered one. My stock seat has as rip and the repair cost was basically the same so I decided to try out the long haul. Glad to hear it is better. I hope I find it to be the same for me.

I’ve seen the bead things, but never tried them. I imagine they help with airflow and cooling, yes?

When you go longer distances, do you ride with anyone, or do you just do your own thing?

Dry air is the big bonus for the Beadrider. And moving around on it help massage and circulation.
I ride with and without groups. Just love to ride...
