I was wondering if anyone who has upgraded their header would mind parting with one of the 3 upper heat shields? I'm just trying to cover where my slip on fits. Thanks. Norm

No. I meant like the covers that cover the top of the headers. I still have my stock heat shield. I may just cut that down to fit.

I have this one Norm that I made for my original Twin muffler system (On my bike) it would be longer than what you need, but you could cut it back to suit your set up.
And I have a few spare header ones.

You really should keep that Sonny, if it wasn't an "X" I wouldn't say this.
Many years ago when I was running a M/C shop I restored many 50's and 60's bikes.
The hardest thing was getting good, or any part, to complete that restoration.
I know that there are plenty of stock exhaust systems around, but the X is special.

Not that special.
Just a high priced Roadster with a fancy paint job according to some.
Still to this day look at it and shed a tear or two. By far the best of the best i have ever owned.
