2018 Rocket III Roadster
Got my T bars in yesterday and started swapping everything out. Got everything mounted on the right but when I putting the left side on I noticed the turn signal switch all of a sudden hanging up and clicking. I looked in the service manual and couldnt find anything on it. So I started taking it apart. Well needless to see fat fingers and little parts I dropped some pieces. Got it all recovered and put back together. Blinkers are not working, still stiff and clicking, and now the headlight switch is the same... any ideas on where to look exploded diagrams of switches and housing?
Oh it's a brand new 2018 Roadster, no issues till I created one.

For the edification of those of us that are prone to such misadventure, can you tell us what happened, and what you did to fix it?

It was kind of a comedy of errors but having patience and paying attention makes a big difference. A good pair of tweezers would have been helpful too.
When the housing is off the bike and your looking down into it there is a black screw holding one side and the horn setup in place. There are 3 stainless screws, one on top, bottom, and on the the other side holding a small bracket over the unit.
Once all the screws are you can use a small screwdriver to pry the unit out and then to pry it open on each side. Becareful here as you look at the back its actually the bottom. I would suggest flipping it over before fully pulling apart as the parts will come out.... this is what happened to me. There is stainless bar that sits in a grove across the middle (this is what locks the turn signal on till you hit the button). There are 4 tiny springs (2 above and 2 below one on each corner) that are sitting in little holes. There is a notch on each side of the holes and a small copper piece sits on top of the springs and into the notches. The springs push these up hit the contacts on the top piece to activate the turnsignal. Just remember you playing with a lot of time springloaded pieces and in a tiny area.
