What did you do to your Rocket today?

I dropped my beast it on its right side.

Thank god for the front and rear bars.

They may be flimsy but took the weight of the beast okay.

Was a dumb mistake by me pulled into the side of the road at a mates place and put the front wheel over the curb and just threw me off balance and down she went.

Oh crap didn't even have time to hit the kill switch before I had it back on the wheels.

Now I heard she a heavy bike but only took me one go to get her upright.

Hopped back on and nearly put her down on the other side.

Ended up with a small dent in the lower pipe, marks on the bars front and rear and 3 marks on the edge of the right screen lowers.

Now me on the other hand I am wondering what damage I have done to the back again.

Feels like I have buggered up an old work injury from 19 years ago hasn't felt this bad for 8 years right leg feels a bit numb and tingling.

Will see if i can walk in the morning and able to ride the Rocket to work.

£150 equivalent, lifts so high a happy Ron Jeremy could get under it and i can change the oil unimpeded

Thanks for that . I use an ATV lift with a homemade bracket , but find I am allways stooping . Could do with something that lifts higher . I had a hydraulic work bench , but they take up too much room in the bat cave !
....

On second look , it doesn't seem that the Big Blue lifts any higher than my current set up ? Back to the drawing board !

Get a little helper but I wouldn't recommend these though!

This one is apparently tough on equipment.

And he will steal you blind and kick you in the nuts!

Just knock on a few neighbour's doors - kid's are cheap and have little hands to retrieve all those dropped tools and parts you left in there too.;):D

Ouch easy done - hows the back today? Do not neglect it!

We all need to be careful when lifting R3's and easiest and safest to backup to them up using our arse and legs. If lifting from RHS putting the side side down first can possibly help stabilise or prevent a flip over.
Once up, if safe, it is always best to leave it on the side stand and get your sh!t back together before re-mounting.

Back is hurting me and leg is a bit sore too.

Once bike was back on the stand I had a small Jim Beam and a slow ride home.

Did take to work this morning and was a bit uncomfortable. After work I rode about 65 kms to get some cheap Gas realized that I saved nothing but enjoyed the ride.

Quite the day. Glad you’re ok (for the most part)
