Well Gang, I did it. I put money down on this beautiful 2011. I am headed down on the 5th to go pick it up, I can hardly wait.

Good deal. You have almost all the OEM accessories that you can’t get anymore!
I’m sure you’ll love her!

hello Hemi Guy, Welcome from Montreal. I myself have a 2012 R3T. Bought without knowing anything more than that it existed. Have not regretted my purchase. When I got it home is when I discovered this site. I did do some upgrade. TORS exhaust pipes, re did the map with TuneEcu. Changed for LED headlight, installed an Diebel Horn because its really really much louder. At the moment I'm waiting for Paul Bryant straight threw cross over. Should be in by mid April. ITs a dream bike . Put 15000Km last season & probably will be doing the same this season. Apart from tires & standard maintenance. No problems. At one point your going to ask what type of engine oil to use. For myself I prefer Amsoil 20-50 synt. read a few of the write up's and decide plenty of choices out there. Have fun buddy & keep on grinning.:):):):):):)

Looks like a great bike with lots of farkles added to it. Does that CD come with it for the kickstand?

Hey all,

New to the site and looking for input. I am considering a purchase of a 2011 R3 Touring this weekend and could use your help on things I should look for, things I should ask, etc. The bike is a one owner and appears to have been very well taken care of.

I am currently on a 2006 Honda VTX 1800N and want to try something other than a V-Twin for a while, the most unique bike I can find and genuinely like the looks of is the R3.

Any feedback for a rider looking to go to an R3 for the first time?

Thank you,

Paul.
Mileage??

Also keep in mind that abs brakes were an option in 2013 and standard starting in 2014 if that’s important to you.
Other than that their is almost no difference from 2008 to 2017 besides some bling, bling!
Jag I have a 2011 with ABS so the option was available a little before 2013.
