Living in the USA

We did speak previously regarding you purchase of another Rocket that is located in Wisconsin. But due to the short time frame I was originally planning to travel it just wasn't possible. A beautiful idea and very generous offer that was gratefully received. Once this first 16 weeks is completed it will hopefully be an on going project. There are 250 sites to be decommissioned of the old analogue system 'X' and the new digital/fibre room created. It's approximately 1 site per week to decomm and install the new DC system. Completed the trial in 3 days with many thanks and a bottle of whisky into the bargain!! Free, and from a Scotsman!! Once this initial 16 week period is over then I should have a bit more leverage over the time scales and holidays etc..

They have planes and ships nowadays so you can actually plan and carry out trips in other countries to satisfy your lust!!!
I know its expensive...i'm hearing that...but it is possible. I would love to ship my bike and myself to join all you buggers in MV.
Maybe...maybe....:inlove
Really? Bring it. Of all the folks on here would love nothing better to ride together.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

This year is out cos we are doing a trip to the Cook Islands in July for two weeks. But its in the back of my mind and mum says 'You should do it"...gotta save some coin...There is so much i need to do b4 a trip like that becomes real tho.

I was talking about it to a mate earlier today. He said, "yeah ok but they have to put up with DJTRump"....and like we haven't got our own problems... For F's sake we can't even leave Europe (and that includes all, that chose to take part, we haven't beaten in a war or 2 in the past) without 2 and a half years notice , and then we are now asking for an extension so we can drag out this sh*t even longer! Our politicians are too busy feathering their own nests and not doing their job's, but then you could probably say that about politicians around the world.
Anyhow, aside from all that the UK, USA, Canadia, NZ and Aus are similar in a lot of things except for space....i.e. we haven't got any, which really irritates me. I look at R3's over here fitted with highway footpegs (different countries will have their own terminology), and I think, in the UK, ....why? Every few minutes/seconds you are either changing gear and/or braking....there just is no relaxing riding that would justify spending £60-100 on highway pegs that are very rarely going to be used.
Just my two penneth worth.

IMG_0570.JPG spend more time with feet on forward pegs than stock pegs. Then again ride OKLAHOMA:D:D:D:D:D:D

Oh I hear you and understand too. I live on the south coast, the retirement area and the most densely populated area of the UK. The only time to go out on the bike is on a Sunday morning at 05.00am. Either that or spend a day riding Oop Norf to the moors or the borders region for a bit of freedom! As for the sodding politicians..they are the same the world over. Completely useless bunch of self ingratiating fu@kwits. Never seen a better use of a 12 bore from close range.
