The previous owner of my 2011 Roadster put some very nice risers on the bike which I don't really need but have no complaints. I will be having to get under the tank in while to break into the wiring and it appears the risers put the gauges too close to make it easy. Anybody have advice on making it an easy process?

Heres some pics.

Morris thought me this in my first R3 service class. Thank you!

Have tank as empty as possible. Remove the bear claw, Remove the seat. Remove the rear tank pivot bolt. Remove front tank screw. (will need a long extension for this). Lift the tank and slide it back. Pivot the front up over the gages. Prop the tank with provided metal prop mounted on the right side of the frame. You can rest the back of the tank onto original position. It will stay without the bolt. You can secure it with the bolt for safety. Game ON, have fun.

You can go the remove/swing the gages way too.
