How many members have Tribal Orange tins?

I only have half so far - New Flyscreen, New Radiator shrouds, used side covers and a set of the decals and a spare set of Phantom Black tins to have re-sprayed. NONE sourced from listings below!

They still list a set at Engle Motors but even if they have it or parts they are out of my price range with freight etc to make it truly impossible.

It is always worth asking as I have found some amazing New Old Stock for many rare Triumph R3 parts around the world.

You comparing like a change of hair color ones hard and the other is still soft lol
Well the good thing I had another set of tins so my orange tins will not be touched:) and not fake lol

I said I'd never seen one but was going through some rides photos and found this one. It was taken at a Lake Tahoe Rocket gathering back in summer 08. This guy rode it from the east coast. I recall that he had some laser cut air vents on the front of the bear claw. I met some wonderful folks there.

Hey, thats my bike!! I just stumbled across this post and it brought back some great memories. Sorry for the 1 year belated reply - LoL

This is a 2005 - but not the one I originally bought. That one wouldn't pass the pre-sales checklist so the dealer put me up in a hotel and they pulled a new black one out of a crate at 6am and transferred
the tribal tins, chrome oil tank and wind screen to the new bike. I rode away at around 1pm. Claw was cut out but no slots Correction - it does have a big hole cutout! Hadn't used it in years and forgot that.

I did 24 states in 25 days on that trip for a total of 9,500 miles.
I ended my highest mileage month ever with 10,001 miles --- BUT, no proof as the trip meter flipped to 0 at 10K before I could get a snapshot. Oh, well.

And here she is 10 years on running the Tail last September being assisted by some skeletal girth.

That was the best time and the folks who attended were wonderful. I recall talking to you by your bike. I rode down with Jim Harvey, David's brother. I missed the last night's party, which I heard the next morning was a real blast. Jim totaled his Rocket a few years ago.

Lake Tahoe from Mount Rose. The entire area is buried in snow right now. I'll have to ride down in July.

That was a lot of miles for you on that trip and I was amazed that you did it with only a flyscreen.

>122,000 miles with only that little bug deflector! Couldn't do it w/out a full face.

Sorry to hear that about Jims bike, I haven't seen David in awhile. We also lost G-Man and Todd who were there and did the F.A.S.T. cross-country trek. Life is too short.

I think that is G-Man with the silver helmet on the far right side.

Too funny - I just dug this one up. We must have been standing shoulder-to-shoulder and they look to have been taken within 10 seconds!!

Please clarify "lost G-Man and Todd". My gosh did they pass away? Oh no......I'm going to get David's email/phone number from Jim. We keep in touch.
