I have one of those "Becker" stands Mike. Great for keeping the bike level and you can get the rear wheel off the ground or just put weight on the rear and the front comes up.
I think i would prefer the bike to be level and stable b4 i tried removing the shocks, particularly the left side anyway. But hey, others have done so its your call.

So, the new shocks have arrived, quick question, can I fit them one at a time without having to put a jack under the bike (I don't have one as yet) whilst its on the side stand, or will this end in tears?
Been thinking about a set of YSS shocks for mine, be intrested to find out how you find them.

Hi @REBLX136 You can get them from Wemoto too as you're in the UK. Really good reseller I've found. Great to deal with and take returns no problem. Triumph Rocket III Roadster 11 Rear YSS Z-Series Twin Shocks Parts at Wemoto - The UK's No.1 On-Line Motorcycle Parts Retailer

I've found them a good improvement over stock pogo sticks. I do a lot of two up riding with luggage too and they are fine on that. Also single Rider too. Sorry it's not such a technical description of how they feel, am sure someone else can give you that.

Martin, thanks for the info, technical specs are all fine and good but if a bloke can’t say they feel better and do what he needs them to do without quoting tech specs then it’s not much use in the real world eh, I appreciate your response thanks.

They feel much better than stock is all I can say

I mean I'm no auto-journalist. I can have a go tho.

"The butt shaking factor is much reduced by the increased compressio-spondoulium factor delivered by the YSS. Far increased confidence when hooning into sharp bends with rebound-bound-rebound set as purely linear in an inverse splunkto-curve. The WPM (wobbles per mile) is far reduced with compression-maximus-spaximus not reached"

exactly what I needed to hear, and may I say your command of the technical jargon is beyond Reproach.. WPM sounds perfect and the “compressio-spoboulium factor” would seem to be a real selling point.

Perfect thanks.
