Samco Radiator Hoses

Hooray. Received them today along with a bag of high quality clamps. They arrived from UK via Fedex very quickly; about a week or so. I was quite surprised. I'm wondering what the the little pencil thin hose is for though.
Mike. It is a full 5 hose kit. So 3 fat ones - the long thin one and the rad to overflow tank one. Just one thing. READ THE FITTING INSTRUCTIONS. Especially the clamp tightening bit. I had to re-tweak again last week.

I didn't open the packages to see if there was an install sheet or examine the back for instructions but will check this morning. Fortunately, 1olbull installed his and will be helping me with the installation in the spring. I'm not able to work on anything yet and have another surgery Feb 11. Will try to get them installed along about late May.

Just checked the bag Chris to confirm the order was correct and check for the fitting instructions. Directions are on the back of the package. Looks fairly straightforward. It was either Clavigar or 1olbull who mentioned that one was a bit of a challenge. I'm sure I'll have plenty of help.

Hoses are not that hard to figure out. Easy to install and pretty simple. Just use a torque wrench when installing and re torque after a few miles.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Didn't seem to be. I've installed them on trucks but never on a bike. It appears to be fairly straightforward.

Yup - having a torque wrench seems to be the key. Only thing I have seen - The Silicone hoses seems to be far more dependant on being fully seated and clamped with the tube 100% parallel to the spigot. My neighbour has just silicon-hosed a 4WD and came to the same conclusion.
