I tested an early diavel and thought the same, seat was way more dipped on first ones and it completely crushed my guys, had to rub behind my ears to get them back out again!!

The new Diavel makes 150 plus horse. The new stock rocket after the special will make 150 horse. Weight factor alone tells you which one will be the better deal. The Diavel not only looks better but would tear up the new rocket. SAD. Yes please bring the new rocket on. Drop the price of a new 2018 Roadster even more and am in. Take the best deal here in the states and do not send to Oklahoma. Buy and ship to New Jersey. Send transmission to get it machined right. Let the Carpenter crowd do there thing. Strike a deal with the Man in the tin shed and get her tuned correctly. Go to town and black ever dam$ thing out with powder coat. Upgrade lights and suspension. Even get a new set of handle bars and rear view mirrors this way it would make it easier to see how your doing on either one in my rear view mirrors. Add a custom paint job and it's all good. Financial come out ahead on both with a better ride. It is a no brainier. Got nothing against the new Rocket might be a great bike. Then again Mites are found on a chickens as$. Still up to the slogan "Go your Own Way" I hope that they are not paying the Marketing guys at Truimph a lot of money. If they are they missed the point of owning a Rocket. Laughed at the new Bonneville's and how it is marketed at the in crowd. Feel the new Rocket will be the same. So instead of looking at a amazing very different bike such as the advertisements on the Rocket X Just be looking at a Cookie cutter aimed at the in crowd. Do like the advertisements with the cute little girls and the tight fitting jeans in the Bonneville commercials. Figure the ones for the Rocket will be even hotter. To bad the bike ain't.
Sonny...if i turn up on the Maggie Valley ride out of the blue...on a NEW Rocket...you'll know i just won lotto!!!...
I'll be the one riding on the OTHER side of the road...smilin...
BTW, I think the Triumph spies read our site as they pretty much changed the Rocket to mirror what we discussed awhile back about ways to improve the bike on a new model.
Gonna be easier to replace rear wheels & tires.
Short rear sux for adding panniers when needed.
Definitely needs a proper header.
Looks like the rear wheel is still 16" - drat!
I wanna know if/what was changed/improved in the tranny . . .?
Anxious to see one in person.
I wonder how the smart people at triumph managed to maintain the engine temp with a smaller rad maybe what looks like a secondary rad below is actually a second rad I like the brembo brakes too.
and seems like an hydraulic clutch reservoir on the left bar

THE Diavel makes 130 RWHP and a deristricted ROCKET makes 170+ RWHP so thats the comparison and Im sure the 2500 is going to be stronger probably close to 200 HP and then you can do a CARPENTER package WOW no comparison
