I was at Motorcycle show and he said that they have got no release yet, so he said most likely it will come out as a 2020.
So if it’s still the same drive shaft this will mean those rims will fit are older Rockets?
There is no way that I'll be able to afford whatever they are going to ask for the new R3 so I'll keep mine.
That'll make a neat little commuter, pretty generic looking though
Well it is raining and got the day off. Have had a few beers and looking at the pic's they still are doing nothing for me. Just looks like another cookie cutter. Motorcycle manufactures seem to cast a theme and everybody follows. Harley and their baggers next thing you know all the manufactures are producing baggers. This bike is a take off of the modern them that Yamaha set with the V-Max. The diavel was a improvement and surely the New Rocket is very much a improvement. At the same time it is rather disappointing. "Go your own way" slogan is history.
Really? Last Toy run of the year met up with Mexican and his group at the fair grounds in Tulsa Oklahoma. Got so many complements on the Rocket X it was unreal. Even when we all lined up for the run had a guy on a nice Harley look over and ask "What year is that"? Told him and his response was "One sharp looking bike" Young folks had a lot of questions about the bike. The older crowd just would stop look and grin. Then make the comment "NICE" I don't think i have ever received a negative comment about how the X looks.
Currently has 35 watchers, probably more interested in seeing if the owner gets the strong asking price rather than looking to purchase , that’s almost 21000 dollars to you sir!
Its no secret, and hasnt been since the whisper of a new R3 started, that the style was aimed at competing with Ducati....
Just wait and see what is unveiled i'm sayin....
Our local Triumph dealer has ordered the first two new R3's to come to NZ but at this stage can't tell me anything solid about the bike or even the price ...he hasn't been told by Triumph NZ.
So, i hurry up and wait.......
