You have converted me Sir - I am now a 'Back Door Darksider' (hmm, that doesn't really sound that manly does it).
I installed the new
Michelin Road 5 Rear 150/70ZR17 69W reversed on the front this morning and just finished a 150 mile ride and am quite pleased with the
improvement in cornering.
I had to make some adjustments to the 11.5" Hagon Nitro rear shocks for the 245/50ZR16 Riken Raptor and have a bit more dialing in to do but this smaller diameter
tire with the Wilber fork springs, 10mm shorter spacer, and forks pushed up into the triple tree gets the bike handling much better.
I'm currently running 35lb in the Road 5 but may bump it up. 30lb in the Raptor seems pretty good.
My Roadster is set up a bit differently and has the narrower 140/75 Avon Cobra up front which helped but I think the flip-flopped Michelin 150/70 is better.
Thanks for your scripture!!
