MUFASA is 100% tuned, and the numbers...

Wow ! , wow , and wow . Those curves are more impressive than a finnish supermodel ! The time and dedication you have put into this is astounding Rob , yielding awesome results . Good on you mate . Triumph uks research and development team should snap you up ! Following the progress has been an experience , thanks for sharing !

Yes indeed. However when you ad in a Catalytic Converter and emissions controls for NOx, SOx and CO2 then ad Mufflers with noise levels below 80 decibels, I think all these extra Ponies Rob made are now just tiny little Kitty Cats. Now we are back to 140 Horsepower. Buggers :banghead:.

What class would you be in if going for a record? and what(if you know) is the current record

From memory there was a privateer Rocket at Bonneville when I was there in 2016. If memory serves he did something like 178 MPH. Remember the salt was bad and there was quite a lot of wind during those runs. Our ZX14 should have broken 205 MPH, but our best was 197MPH. Look at the Finish Line Flags. They are straight out from the wind.

That’s all the stuff I need to look at, is it possible, safety requirements, etc. If I’m going to the salt, I’m going there to achieve a record not play.

That said I’m far more interested in the Texas mile than salt flats.

Now if a visit to the legendary Salt Flats is going to happen, would it not be imperative to have a supporters club in attendance? I mean, somebody's got to carry his bags !!:eek:

Nels ran into a weird issue where the bike would be lean, he'd add what should be enough fuel to bring it up where he wanted the fuel to be and it'd still be lean. Then he'd add a bit more fuel and all the sudden it would be really rich.
Check for detonation...

This looks good. It has been a while,so I expect you are well happy to have it running nicely so you can enjoy it.The absolute numbers are very similar (without looking up the graph) to @Mitzy . I guess you are aware that the salt just wrecks bikes, I have quite a few customers who go up to the salt and it is staggeringly hard to keep the bike in good nick. It just gets in everywhere and buggers everything up. Wiring, corroded engine cases/wheels etc etc.

Congratulations on getting it all done. :)

Got my first couple sunny weather play moments in...

Holy ****, is all I can say. The power is just, mind bending. I am absolutely blown away at the difference after getting it tuned. Picking the front wheel up is sheerly a factor of how fast you open the throttle now. Roll on smooth but steady it stays down, roll on quick from 2,750- 3,000 and your pointing at the sun.

The most amazing part is that the Emax actually takes it without spinning on a good road.

My trackday definitely helped my comfort level on the rocket. I feel way more confident at the edge of the tire now, and I know how to hang off it properly now, huge help!
