Which Zard system are you using? I've never seen a tune for the system unfortunately, I hope someone has a tune for you!

The zard penta sits nicely under the bike!

Asked the same question a couple of weeks ago in the tune section,I have the full Zard so slightly different than yours, previously had the DP collector similar to the Zard under swing arm setup and currently running Hanso’s tweaked tune,seems to run ok but just feels a little flat lower down. Don’t seem to be many tunes for the pre Roadster models available unless any of the tuning masters in here can point us in the right direction?
Currently running the full Zard system and just waiting on some RU1770’s to arrive from the parcel fairy

I know what you mean about lack of specific tunes for earlier R3's. I am running a Carpenter header with Ramair. Also have had trouble opening available tunes after download.

I missed this before. Sorry. The Zard Penta actually kills performance. A shame as I agree with the looks.

Find it hard to believe someone would build an exhaust system that would lower the power? Seems crazy that it could be more restrictive than the standard set-up.
I have the full system which I would assume flowed better than the original headers but have no way of knowing as no tuners close to me and there doesn’t seem to be any suitable tunes in resources for an early Rocket.

The Zard 3 into 1 full system is another thing all together.
The Penta END-PIPE is more of an aesthetic choice and can be obtained fully E-marked and with a cat, which does matter to some folk.
Thankfully Sam made a short run of THUGS (6 I think) which look similar to the Penta - BUT breathe really well.
All moot on ABS bikes.
Tunes - Scarcity may be because a lot of tunes for the older models were also done with pipes etc that are no longer made. The Predator series for example. Or Jardines.

I had a Rocket with a Zard Penta on the dyno once.
It killed that much hp (at least 20), that I told the guy to better get rid of it. And he did.
That might be the reason why you will hardly find a tune.
The full system does it much better and about the same as the stock exhaust.
