I'll third that. Usually your first idea is the best. Dikking around with it too much tends to ruin it. Just my opinion.

The only thing I’m really feeling is where it wraps around the seat is to make a vent so you can see straight through might give it a softer look.

Ok what do you guys think of my mock up seat?
I wanted a nice size seat but yet wanted the seat to carry on the lines of the trunk, and if I put a brake light in spoiler it might look cool?
That part that wraps around seat where I marked it out that’s what I’m thinking of cutting out so it’s like a vent going through giving a more softer look?

Maybe I’ll put some arm rest that come down to hold her him

or a seat belt lol or maybe I’ll just keep it as a trunk and if my wife wants to go for a ride I’ll take it off and put double seat on.

Yes because I ride most of the times my self I’ll most likely not work on improving the look of the seat to fit on top of trunk, I’ll just keep that trunk look and for the time my wife wants to go with me two bolts trunk is off and just put double seat on.
Now I’ll work on side cover
