Sorry I dont own a Rocket III, but wait :)

So Im not Crazy, Honest, Its my Brother who owns a 2004-5 Rocket, Me and my younger Brother are Both English (suprise) , Im just trying help him out and sort out a few of its faults,

Reading up about its problems, Being a TECHHEAD , I went over to my Brothers place today with my Laptop in Hand and my OBDII cord,

Stahlling at low RPM.
Engine Searching for Idol
running really rich and a high smell of Gas
I first cleaned the IFS sensor or what I think of as the MAF sensor
checked for vacuum leaks
and that went ok.

I retrieved the Hex file from the ECU, and saved it, on my laptop 20222.hex
then Downloaded to the ECU 20222_2SA I did all the procedure as in many of the Utube and online forum threads, and it run ok but spat out some coolant after waiting the allotted time and its cooling fan never turned off, though it is 39C here in Alberta Canada today, anyhow, I wasn't sure, if this Map was legit.

so Reflash the ECU with my brothers original map. what I had called "Jims Dodgy MAP" and after he took it for a ride, all so seems to be performing as it should (YAY)

So I was thinking I may try again tomorrow. or as some well known intellectual may of said, Leave it alone, don't fix something that isn't Broken.

So I do Ride my self, But I ride a Streetfightered GSXR750 - with a 1000 and N02
at this time the Ive been diagnosed with a Bone Disease and i'm unable to ride at this time and its KILLING me.

More adventures tomorrow, im working on another Rocket III who wants me to try and remove some restrictions, secondary's etc.

Is it running after market air intake of is it still under the seat plumbing?

I have a 20228 file that might be good for this.

What year is the other rocket as files change depending on the year

basically the Muffler on Jim's bike was something I made up from a universal unit, took a tonne a weight off the bike, hes still running the stock air box, but im thinking we may go with the K&N ramair kit

So working on. Two rockets today the 2007 took the above tune like a top, my brothers 2004-5 didnt like it all, it almost sounds like it's got a vacuum leak somehow

Gald it worked out for one of the beast's.

Shame about the 05 not liking it.
