2004 - sub9k miles - duff battery?

the most significant factor for folks in the UK is less about the ABILITY to have it immobilized than the Thatcham certification that comes with it and reduces the Insurance Premium. (mine is not and Insurance will probably not give you any credit for it in UK without that actual certification)
Ah - I did know about the insurance effect but did not mean it came with that Thatcham caveat.
 
thanks guys, all sorted now.
I was referring to the main bike battery, which I had tested, (was ok, but not perfect), and replaced.

root cause was rider error......
My Triumph America does not require the clutch to be held in to start the bike......
