I hear a lot of gearbox comments these days, mine is smooth as...or did they sort that problem at a certain year?
If you want to hear a **** gear box ride a M109r, and they havnt changed at all to the current model.

one of the reasons my rocket is going is,
the dealer that sorted the new engine out gave me a honda f6 to use for a day,after that the rocket was old school.
try one ,
i for one loved it,its so smooooooooooooth.

And there you have it Tails, I am old school, probably why I was attracted to the Rocket,I get bored very quickly with things that are too good!

nice bike to ride ime sure but cleaning the 27ft long exhausts would get me down

to me i like all of us live and love to ride,
when i purchased the 2015 rocket i wanted as my keeper,but how things changed.
like us all i spent a small foutune geting it to try and handle,sound look better etc.
but the final straw to me was the continual problems with that **** gearbox,i could get used to the clunky/load changes etc but at the end of the day it was a matter of safty.
i rode it like i did every bike i had befor this one ,but the thought of that gearbox crashing to a halt and having me off,and the mrs enough is enough.
we all know what we do is dangerouse etc,but too me this bike is an accident waiting to happen.
so there we have it,i loved it when i had it but every time i got on the thing my thought was of that crap gearbox crashing up on me.
the king has gone long live the king.
