Long time Valkyrie enthusiast may switch to R3

There are several Valkie/Rocket 3 riders here.

The Valkie is a formidable bike. The R3 is sportier with serious grunt. If you have mastered the Valkie you will love the Rocket. The vibes through the bars will disappear. If a Valkie ever tries to challenge you, they will have a handful or Rocket growl and exhaust. :ninja:

Welcome from Christchurch New Zealand.

You will never regret buying a beast of a bike.

Had to change my underwear first time I rode a rocket and I didn't even open the throttle up.:eek:

Also don't forget the attention that she gets - I have not been on a trip yet where someone has not stopped to ask me a question about her. An awesome bike that deserves owners whom respect and care about riding, you will not find a better forum than this one.

Welcome Golfun,as said earlier let us know your thoughts after the test ride and your final decision.

And another welcome from New Zealand...Christchurch too, just down the road from phar2slo actually.
I have a 2016 Roadster, my 2nd Roadster and just love it to bits....its the most comfortable bike i have owned with arm wrenching torque you will never get sick of. There is absolute heaps of things you can add and do to this bike to make it your own. If you want to know about adding things, just ask away, there is alot of knowledge in this forum and the forum members in here are only too pleased to help...
Be aware there are different Rocket models to choose from so ask some questions before you pull the trigger....good luck...Tal.

Welcome to the forum mate.

Take a roadster and a touring out for a spin, decide what fits the bill and take the plunge, you won't regret it!

Don't be put off by the tourings slight lack of grunt, a few little tweaks puts it back to how it should be

Derrick, welcome from Maine. I've been a Valk fan for years. I decided on my Rocket because I'm a Triumph guy at heart. Bonnies in my past, 69 and current a 2001 hot rodded to 994cc. I'd say go for what you love, if you fall for the Rocket, I don't think you'll regret the purchase.

Welcome from the big city of Henryetta Oklahoma. Home to no. 74. My favorite is to look over and say " Nice bike a little small but nice" this even applies to Valk's.:roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:
