Nice 08 R3 Tour for sale

To much money but hey if I wss looking for a 08 touring I'd check with ken aka stripes he was looking to sell his for around 5000.00 myself I like the bug eyed beast.

This one just popped up in Washington but the ad doesn't say where in the state. It's a 2012 with just over 500 miles on it for $11,500 (there ya go Claviger). When I see something like this I wonder just what the heck someone is thinking when they buy a new bike and then decide that they don't have time to ride it.

Triumph Rocket 3 Touring

I think people get buy these thinking it has the power of a H-D and go out and scare the crap out of themselves.

Six years and 500 miles (800km) or ten years and 7000 miles (11200km). Yeah right. Why do people buy motorcycles to not to ride them? I cannot afford that! Those two bikes are beautiful I do have to admit that.

Cars are extremely expensive in Finland and the salt on the roads during wintertime makes them rust. So people go to Germany to get better condition cars for less. Some say up to 1/3 of those cars odometers have been fixed so it´s not difficult to find a 10-15 year old Mercedes with less than 100 000miles on it. Not saying this is the case here but still makes me wonder. Same thing with many Harleys even here in Finland. The bike might be like 25-30 years old and like 40000km (64000miles) on the odometer. Hmmmm?

P.S. Adult driven? Hmm, all big and powerfull motorcycles are adult driven in Finland and nobody needs to mention that separately. What did I not understand this time?

You can ride almost year round where I live. I have owned my current bike for 18 years and though I do not ride a lot I have over 50,000 miles. It has always mystified me why there are so many Harley's here for sale, all the time. If they are so great, why are people selling them?

I think people just get bored. The fellow selling the one I tested needs the money. He is building a house and needs to buy construction equipment.

My new Harley has been in the garage for a month, it now shows 11 miles, 9 of those from the dealer when they test rode it to make sure it was going to stay together:D

40000 km is around 25000 miles, I think you have the calculation backwards. 1000 miles a year is not that uncommon here in northern US as the winters are about half year long, myself I ride about 3000 to 5000 miles a year.

And the reason you're not riding your beautiful new Harley is???????????
