What Kind of hard bags are these?

I saw this pic on another thread. Can someone identify this brand of hard bags? My apologies if I offended anyone by using their photo!:D

That was my Rocket, and they are indeed Corbin Beetle Bags and you almost need to win the lottery to buy them. They sit too close to the exhaust pipes and the paint/glass blistered so I had to put stick on heat shield material on the bottom side. Strange thing was that if you search you will see that the paint scheme was different on lots of bags with two tone paint. Corbin was guessing what looked best or they outsourced the paint and the painter had no Rocket to work from. That was the Corbin fairing too.

DUDE ! NO fair teasing us like that. Your MISSION -- go find that guy and post how all the Enquiring Minds Want to Know can avail themselves.
My mission is to tempt and guide. I leave the exploration and navigation of the World-Wide-Web to the less world-weary.

Thanks for the feedback! For the price I would expect a good solid product. Was that your experience because some have said that they were rather thin?

They are solid until you lay the bike over then well its like dropping a coffee cup on concrete. They have a nice lines with the bike but locking hardware is cheap. And their customer service blows!!!

So lets be honest here, the Corbin bags are thin, and Corbin has a truly $hitty reputation for customer service but they are not going to explode from dropping the bike.( How do I know twice? ):banghead:

I expect that anything upwards of a 25 mph crash and they would be pretty trashed mainly because they're exposed and they're fiberglass.

Exactly what kind of bag, that doesn't have chrome guards, could survive a +25 mph crash?o_O

ALL SIDE CASES of a any decent size are going to get destroyed in any decent crash. And should be treated as disposable.
As for chromed protectors - these should be seen as there to be sacrificed in place of frame damage. I have seen overzealous "crash bars" actually damage frames because they did not deform sufficiently on impact.

They are in my opinion the best looking bags for the Rocket not cheep but good looking bags as far as bags go, I very seldom use bags so I have the leatherlyke bags off and on in about 10sec and that is with a cop of coffee in your hand.

I didn't find them to be thin. The gaskets on the lids were not glued well. Customer service was good to me. I sent pictures of heat damage, they paid for me to ship them back and they fixed them up proper but when they shipped them back I applied the heat shielding because the design and close proximity to the exhaust was the issue. After that, no issue. Honestly the amount of storage you would gain is not worth the expense. The tour pack even though it may look like a top heavy arrangement does not alter the ride anymore than two up. It also had a rain fly. Pack moonshine in the bottom of the pack. Cast iron skillet too with denim between :)
