I have to book my time off a year in advance and I just missed the dates for this ride. I hope to meet up for some weekend rides as I’m not far away. I have to retire... this work crap just gets in the way.

Try to participate, for at least a part of it.

Folks heading through Oregon can camp out here. Or a room or two. Trade stories. We are slightly East and North of Salem. Just minutes from Interstate 5.

And, we will feed you. And maybe ride on North.

I definitely know your situation, my friend and I lament that work shall keep you away.
Sadly the itinerary is to arrive Medical Lake, WA on Sunday afternoon/evening, July15th and Monday morning riding south via the Rattlesnake and Hells canyon, then stopping for Monday night in Baker City.
 
I'll be there, even if only for the weekend part on the West end, I'll be there for some duration of the ride, though I'm trying to do the whole thing.

I've also got a room available in Olympia and a garage for a rocket to sleep in. Be forewarned, I have 3 dogs and 2 cats, and yes, I love them more than you. 1st come, 1st serve.

A very generous offer, Rob! I hope you get a taker as I have 2 couches, one room with queen and adequate floor/yard space.
Just a note:
When we leave Tacoma for day 5 & 6 around the peninsula loop on Fri July 20 & Sat July 21, we shall be riding over the Narrows taking the counterclockwise direction (same as we did Sunday).
You'll have a little 30 minute rip up here for the start.

I know I sure am. I took my first ride in four months today! (shame on me)
70° gorgeous day & perfect riding weather.
I sure hope we can get a good turn-out for RAA West 2018 as we are hosting it!

Leave packet is in, hopefully it gets signed without issue. If so I’ll be around from 14-22 July.
