Well took the bike to work yesterday. When I left the dirt road for the pavement, i gave it a little gas and heard a funny roar sound coming from under the bear claw. Backed off the gas imminently. Thought to myself "you screwed something up". Parked it on the side of the road and listen to the motor at idle. Sounded good, no funny noises. So we took off again and leaned over a bit. Sure enough the roaring sound was coming from under the bear claw. So by the time I got to the Highway was kind of 50/50 on if it was normal or not. Still have the stock exhaust so you can image my thoughts listening to this newly acquired sound. At highway speeds the roar is a lot less noticeable. Did notice that at 75 to 80 MPH the RPM's are less. Acceleration is improved and engine seems to run a bit smoother at highway speeds. The added bonus to the events of yesterday was riding home in the rain. :):):):):):):)

Fitted my Ramair today and at first was a bit disconcerted by the "chirping" it seemed to make at tick over (hopefully that's not just mine) but when I had a quick blast up the road those thoughts just disappeared with that roar.

Throttle response is better and there is less popping on deceleration but I've not yet loaded the tune Blackthou has provided me.

I was thinking that with the induction kit it would make the TORS louder (not really sure why) but it's hard to tell over the 'sucking'!

Very normal, satisfying induction noise goin on!!..
