Can't decide

This is heavy plastic that goes around the neck of frame, and wasn't even thinking that the radiator covers are plastic, if they can be caromed why can't this be chromed ?
Is it a different process, that I just need to find the right guy to do it?
This guy said he first dips it in nickel then dips it in chrome twice he said the plastic will melt.
So how do they chrome other plastics on bikes?

As Idaho said the headstock covers are flexible and need to be flexed to fit. That would not work well with chrome which would crack and flake off. The Radiator shrouds are a very different stiff hard plastic that does not have to flex and will not do so without cracking.

Yea looks like I need to paint it, my cable hook was rubbing on it so I sand it down so it will not rub thinking I will just Chrome it, oh well.

Any how I decided to make a spoiler out of styrofoam first time usually I use wood, it was fun.
When I finish it I'll fiberglasse it and use Stainless steel for the brackets.
Got rid of my trunk and my rack and decided to finish it off with a spoiler to compleat my single seat sports look.
It's just sitting on back most likely it will be positioned differenly, not sure yet just want to work on the right look for the spoiler that suits this monster of a bike, and this is what I got so far.
So I guess between the two there be my rack if I wanted to carry anything.
What do you guys think? Too big? Too small? Should it be shaped different? Or trash the crazy idea lol

Not too sold on the spoiler , but you sir are a clever guy ! In a minute you are gonna come up with something that makes you rich !

I'm going to get my exhaust Chromed and all my heat shields, and ceramic coat my headers so I don't need to put on the exhaust tap back on.
I assume there's good and bad Chrome jobs as well, the more you dip the better the job?
Does any one have any pictures or video's of them taking the Jardines off and installing them?

I think good prep is the most important part for chrome or ceramic work. Thats where the extra costs are. Three dips on sh*t preps not gonna look better than two.

They were ok... But now gone fully LED - Not as bright as I would like.
And back to my 3 into 1 Reband/CES system.

Great effort but you have to think like a Moose and Rocket 3 owner, remember 'size matters', subtle just doesn't cut it! I can send you a new OEM wing they fitted to the 2003 Mitsubishi Ralliart Magna (Diamante) version here in Oz. You will get real respect from them Moose then. ;):D
