Hanso/Tripp R3T derestricing/anti-Decel pop tune review.

I don't know if it's the same tune, but I got a tune of HansO, Decel popping gone and dropped the rev's down whilst siting on 110 ks cruising from 3000 rpm to 2300 rpm which has improved my fuel econ as well. Bloody good Job thanks HansO.

@TheWhingnut and @rocketjohn and @Boog (and whoever else would like to participate) perhaps we could have Rocket Maintenance Saturday up here -- I have the TuneECU on computer and cable, and make it happen. I have the hardcopy shop manual that covers through '14.

So @Joesmoe, is this a tweak on the original Derestricting PowerTripp Tune. I don't have any decel popping issues and am still running the stock air and exhaust. If it would work with my setup and if it offers some improvements, I would be interested in having a copy. You know where to send the file. Thanks

I had decel popping with the first tune I tried -- which was a tweak on the original Tripp tune.

I have since removed the air plumbing in favor of the RamAir, and have installed Paul Bryant's header into a Dane pipe, so we're no longer comparable.

On the other hand, I installed a tune for @Boog and he has all stock, and he seems happy with it. Perhaps he could chime in with his observations, and if you like what he has to say, then I can send you the tune I installed for him. As long as you do the 12 minute re-baseline, I think the ECS is pretty tolerant.

I do have TORs on Brahma so not exactly stock. I still love the response and have no decal popping at all. Mileage is down some, I get about 10-15 miles less per tank than before.

So @Boog, Did you have the original Decel tune on first? If so, do you find the newer tune more to your liking for some reason. I already installed the original Power Tripp tune on my bike shortly after I bought it. It can be run with or without TORS or stock. Yes, there a loss in mileage about 3 miles per gallon from my estimate, but I do believe the engine idles smoother and runs better.

I did not have that tune, I had the Triumph TORs tune which had a good amount of decal popping. This tune fixed that and like you said, it seems to operate smoother now but with slightly less mileage.
