#1
Quart bottle of Mobil 1 in top picture obviously not Castrol sponsorship any more?

#2
Electric power lead into engine bay for power wrench - valve train and head removal? Mechanic/team leader reporting to somebody in background who looks worried.

#1 is correct. Not sure why/where they were using the Mobil 1. They do use Castrol 4T Racing 10W40 in the engines. I watched them open a new bottle to top off the rear engine.

#2 not correct yet.

Is it the guy working in the cockpit area standing on a huge can of methanol? Also you would think they would have a trailer to bring the machine back to the start point! Towing a motorcycle while attached to a vehicle with a tow line is inviting disaster as any sideward pull will quickly put the motorcycle on it's side (in my opinion).

Leatal is correct for #2. I was kind of shocked he was using that can of methanol to stand on.

I was also surprised they used a tow rope instead of a portable trailer like ALL of the other crews were using. In their defense they tried to use the stand they have to run it down to the other end but it turned out to be too flimsy for the task.

SALT conditions not good so some of the racers refused to run
