My tailbone aches after riding this thing.. thinking I need to grind and drill the pan like you did. Pics?

I went a different route, I saw what @canecorso did with his R3R seat, and saw the work when he re-did his corbin seat, excellent work. I got him to do my seat for the R3T, medical gel, new, thicker foam, better leather etc. Ive been on it for about 350kms, NIGHT AND DAY DIFFERENcE. I know it will break in and get more comfortable, but man, its spectacular right now. You and I Norm are about same weight and height. He pushed my seat back a couple inches, added lower back support and raised it abit for me, its way more comfortable, I could never get a R3T, gotta say I hate the peg position and how I fit on it, explains why I see so many threads with trying to move their pegs forward. Here are some pics of what he did, I certainly will be posting a favorable review on the work he did,

I'm 6'2" and most of that in a 34 inch inseam...the R3T is the only bike ever I fit comfortably on. I don't need the boards moved forward and I do have highway pegs for an extra stretch. But everyone else must be more leggy than me!

I like what you have there @Sensfan. I would really like to know what foams and gels he used. I'm curious to know how daylong makes their extentions on the sides too. Carving back like I did puts more leg on the seat while I'm riding which is good but it makes it a little more difficult to be flat footed on the ground. I'm 6' with a 29" inseam. I think when I come up with a finished product I'll have it covered in leather which will let me slide more comfortably than the stock rubber cover. For now it works though.

I think Russell actually ads panels to the seat pan and like rivets them on, and I reckon that would be the best way to keep the "wings" from getting droopy.
