Mine has been painted black probably with a spray can and will need re-doing as bumps at the rear have scraped some paint.

Thank you very much - I really must remember to check on old posts to see if people are still around: Ursus the buyer seems to have gone quiet too. I'll probably try Plastidip because it can be removed if it's not tough enough, maybe with some rubber strips on the top of the rack: if I do, I'll report back in an appropriate thread.
